Dote: What’s your favorite book and why
Carla: My favorite book is Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds. I mean from the title alone, it's so clear how incredible this book is. This book really helped train me to think and work hard, no matter how I'm feeling or what I'm going through. The author, David Goggins, literally defied odds and broke records. Seeing where he came from and his success today shows that you can make anything happen with the power of your mind through consistency and determination. I love this book so much and would read it again!=
Dote: What’s your favorite family tradition?
Carla: My favorite family tradition is eating Mac and Cheese at any family gathering. Deliciously made! My family keeps it simple, but the Mac and Cheese is fire. That's why I put it in caps. FIRE!
Dote: If you could spend a day with three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
Carla: I would spend my day with Oprah Winfrey, Sean John Combs a.k.a. Diddy, and Gary Vee. These people are so rich and successful I know if I had a conversation with them it would be such a great learning experience. I want to be around people who can help me be around the crowds I want to be around in the future. I feel like they would teach me so much about life and success. They have accomplished so much in their lives and it's very inspiring. I have watched so many motivational videos of all these people. They are so wise and helpful. That's why I would spend a day with these three people. You are who you surround yourself with!
Dote: What’s your favorite clothing brand?
Carla: FASHION NOVA, BABY! They are my favorite because they have amazing clothing and bring us the latest styles daily. I love Fashion Nova!
Dote: What’s your go to coffee order?
Carla: I will usually go to Dunkin Donuts for a quick coffee and go. I'm a drive thru kind of coffee person. I always get a medium iced or frozen caramel mocha with cream and sugar. It's the best!
Dote: What’s something your followers may not know about you?
Carla: My followers may not know that I used to make bratz doll videos on YouTube. I created 10-15 minute "TV series" type videos and would also recreate music videos and it was successful. That's how I learned how to edit and then I started my beauty channel. Everything happens for a reason! The last episode of the series has over 358,000 views. It's called "A Luxurious Bratz Life" if you want to watch. It's on YouTube! I should write a TV show one day or YouTube series hahaha.
Dote: What is your favorite quote?
Carla: She believed she could, so she did. <3
