dote follows the retailer’s return policy, so you can return items via mail just like when you purchase items directly from an individual retailer. When you are viewing the product on dote, please read the specific retailer’s return policy to make sure there are no additional restrictions, such as sale or personalized items.
Can I return purchases made on dote?
dote follows the retailer’s return policy. Your package should include the retailer’s return policy and you’ll need to return items via mail, just like when you purchase items directly from an individual retailer. Not all products can be returned (i.e. undergarments, customized items, and final sale items). You can start a return through your order history or contact customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can help.
How do I know what the return policy is for an item I want to buy on dote?
Easy! You can find the return policy for every item in the app right on the product page. Just click into the item, scroll down and tap the return policy section to review the retailer’s return policy for the item. Please make sure to check the return policy of an item before making a purchase.
How do refunds work?
Once the retailer confirms that they’ve received your return and notify dote that your order is ready for a refund, we will process your refund. All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment. Remember that it may take up to 7 days for your refund to appear on your credit card statement.
